🧬 🍓 8th grade students extracted DNA from strawberries and saw genetic material with their own eyes! This hands-on lab brought cell structure and genetics to life. 🔬✨
Our AE/AU programs had an amazing time attending the Transition Train! Students actively engaged in AVID strategies while participating in team-building obstacle courses, music therapy sessions, and hands-on academic activities. Through these experiences, our learners strengthened collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fun, supportive environment. We are so proud of the focus, effort, and teamwork our students demonstrated throughout the event! 💙

6th grade Neuroscience got to collaborate and practice with chopsticks to learn about voluntary movements improving over time. They had to first use their inquiry skills to figure out how to use the chopsticks and then used them to pick up multiple different types of objects of various sizes. #BaylorSTEM+M #Wearewolves

Today our amazing students took their learning to the beach — literally! 😎 Armed with clipboards, measuring tools, and tons of curiosity, they helped collect actual scientific data for the University of Texas BEG’s Texas High School Coastal Monitoring Program! 🧑🔬📐 (Check out the program here: https://www.beg.utexas.edu/thscmp)
