OnRamps Informational Parent Meeting
OnRamps is a new program in which students can enroll and earn college credit through The University of Texas. Miller High School will offer OnRamps in Statistics and Pre-Calculus this year. This informational meeting will take place Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the library.

2018-2019 Changes to the Dress Code
As we begin this new school year, we want to highlight the changes to the dress code. PANTS/JEANS/SHORTS • All pants, walking shorts, and jeans are to be worn at the waist in the size appropriate for the student • No athletic-type shorts • Pajama bottoms are not permitted • Leggings may only be worn underneath an appropriate skirt, pants, or shorts. • Leggings are not to be worn alone. FEMALE ATTIRE DRESSES/SKIRTS • Hemlines and slits on skirts will not exceed 2 inches above the knee, but may go below the knees. SHIRTS: • No bare backs, low cut, inappropriate tank tops, midriffs, backless, spaghetti straps, sheer shirts or t-shirts. • Shirts may not display inappropriate images including; vulgar, obscene, unpatriotic, culturally biased, tobacco products and/or alcoholic product, drugs and/or other prohibited substances, nudity, or offensive language. SHOES • No house slippers ACCESSORIES • Hats, hoods & beanies may not be worn inside school buildings

1st day of School for Students is Monday, August 27th
Please note that the first bell rings at 8:45 am and classes begin at 8:50 am.
